Corneille
Born in 1922 in Liège (Belgium), deceased in 2010 in Auvers-sur-Oise (France)

Co-founder of the CoBrA movement in 1948, Corneille is known as the Painter of Color.
He was also a sculptor and engraver.
His highly expressionistic, brightly colored work at times borrowed motifs from Folk Art.
