Born in 1890 in Philadelphia (USA), deceased in 1976 in Paris (France)
Pioneer with his friends Marcel Duchamp and Piccabia of the most radical movement in Modern Art which, from Dada to Surrealism reaches through time and the entire field of visual arts to our own generation, Man Ray largely contributed with his polymorphic work – paintings, objects, assemblages, photos and films – to enlarge the horizon and the consciousness of painters.
He lived for 30 years in the Montparnasse area of Paris.
