Born in 1965 in Wervik (Belgium)
An atypical Neo-Conceptual artist, he raises numerous questions about society, all whilst giving the impression of turning everything to derision.
His work is fraught with contradictions, and his often-shocking modes of expression reveal a preoccupation with human behavior. In 2011, he produced his first set of jewelry pieces, with all the elements intended to be inseparable.
As in his sculpture Jesus Twisted (2006), Delvoye uses a distorted figure of Christ on his rings.
