Claude de Soria
Born in 1926 in Paris. Deceased in 2015 in Paris (France).
French sculptor Claude de Soria took painting classes at Fernand Léger’s studio until she discovered sculpture through Zadkine.
She worked in terracotta before finding her voice thanks to a bag of cement forgotten in the courtyard of her studio. This material retained her full attention from 1973 to 2000.
She was married to the great collector André Bernheim until he died in 2009.
