ARMAN
Born in 1928 in Nice (France), deceased in 2005 in New York (USA)
Arman held both French and American citizenship.
Having first studied Decorative Arts, he and his childhood friend Yves Klein founded the group Nouveaux Réalistes (“New Realists”) in 1960.
A multimedia artist, he is above all known for his “Accumulations”.
