Sandro Chia
Born in Florence (Italy) in 1946, lives and works in Miami, Rome and Montalcino (Italy)
A painter and a sculptor, he is known for being part of the Italian “Transavanguardia” movement, together with Francesco Clemente, Enzo Cucchi and Mimmo Paladino.
Chia’s work has been exhibited in a number of the most important museums and galleries around the world since the 1980s.
After living in New York for 20 years, he now lives and works between Miami, Rome and his wine-making estate in Montalcino.
This ring, a prototype, was among the rare pieces of jewelry he created with the help of Cleto Munari in 2012.
