Fernand Léger
Born in 1881 in Argentan (France), deceased in 1955 in Gif-sur-Yvette (France)
Fernand Léger became a painter alongside artist Sonia Delaunay, Alexandre Archipenko, and Jacques Lipchitz.
In 1910, he exhibited with Picasso and Braque in the gallery of art dealer Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler.
It is only in the 50s that he created a brooch in enamel metal. It was derived from the shapes and motifs of his paintings, with the predominant colors being yellow, red, blue, and green.
