Giorgio Vigna
Born in 1955 in Verona (Italy). Lives and works in Milan (Italy)
A versatile artist, he began making jewelry at a very young age for films, operas and the theatre.
His collaborations led him to work with Pier Luigi Pizzi, Peter Greenaway, Bernardo Bertolucci and Wim Wenders, among others.
His interest in glass led him to partner with Venini in Venice. The flexibility of the wire, the strength of the stone, the transparency of glass, the reflective light of gold, and energy of the magnet all come into play in his unique, ornamental jewelry pieces.
This pendant, Sospeso, dates from 2013 and is signed by the artist.
