Born in 1936 in Fort Collins, Colorado (USA)

Valentine’s work is centered on the idea of color suspended in space.
A contemporary of Lichtenstein and Warhol, he works in glass and polyester.
His work is often labelled “Californian” in the sense that the light and its spiritual dimension become the matter itself.
