Jean Boghossian
Born in Alepo (Syria) in 1949. He is a Brussel and Monaco based Lebanese artist, sculptor and painter of Armenian descent.
Fire is his artistic language of choice . Objects burned include various mediums such as canvas, paper, books, paintings even chairs!
He is also the President of the Boghossian Foundation which completely renovated the Villa Empain in Brussels ,in 2010, to establish the headquarters of the family strongly involved in fine jewelry and real estate and a dedicated Centre of Art and Dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures.
He designed his first jewelry ( a ring and earrings ) for Diane Venet’s exhibition at the Forum Grimaldi in Monaco (summer 2021).
